( A COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE No. 6426315 )

REGISTERED OFFICE:  STOPHAM ROAD STATION, PULBOROUGH GARDEN CENTRE, STOPHAM ROAD, PULBOROUGH, WEST SUSSEX , RH20 1DS

The Railway is fully signalled with upper quadrant signals operated from the Signal Box by a miniature 16 lever frame. There is full track circuiting and a telephone system connecting the station, engine shed, carriage shed and staff lobby.

When there is only one engine in steam the signals are locked in the clear position. With two or more trains the signalman is kept busy.

Brakes

Continuous air braking has been fitted to the covered and Mardyke coaches and to the two Exmoor locos and Flying Scotsman. The brakes are operated by valves in the brake van and on the engines. A compressor, powered by a 12 volt battery, is located in the brake van.
